Vasilis Nakos

I'm Vasilis — a UI/UX designer and front-end developer based in Epanomi, a seaside village near Thessaloniki, Greece. For over a decade I've been crafting digital products end to end: from the first sketch on a whiteboard to a live, indexed, and deployed application.

My workflow spans the full stack — user research, information architecture, visual design in Figma, front-end development, WordPress/PHP, and server infrastructure on Hetzner with Forge. I don't hand things off; I see them through.

Currently UI/UX Design Manager at team.blue / papaki.com, leading the visual identity of one of Greece's largest domain and hosting providers. Alongside that I take on freelance projects where I can own the full process.

When I'm not at the screen I'm playing guitar with my blues band, turning olive wood into lamps, or swimming at first light.
